We will meet with you at the site of your proposed landscaping project and discuss what it is that you want to do with the property. We will review the adequacy of the survey information available in light of the scope of the project that is proposed. Once we have a sufficient survey information upon which to overlay landscaping design concepts, we will begin to develop landscaping design concepts to present at our next meeting. These landscaping concepts will take into consideration the property, your budget and program, regulatory and environmental requirements, and the landscaping design style that suits the architecture and reflects your own personal taste. The final design that we arrive at together is commonly known as the Landscape Master Plan.

It is in this phase that we will decide upon the materials and methods of construction with budget taken into consideration. Grading patterns of drainage are also worked out during this phase that often impacts the design especially as it concerns heights of walls and numbers of steps. The landscaping design is drawn in plan view and supplemented with details and sections which provide the information needed to communicate the landscaping design to the client, our estimator and installation foreman.

Like a sculptor with a fresh block of clay, it is often impossible to create our best landscaping work without first getting our hands a little dirty. Our landscape designers maintain direct involvement with the installation crews on a daily basis during construction. There are going to be situations arise that present opportunities for design adjustments that will enhance the way the landscaping project comes out. There may also be problems that need creative solutions that only the landscape designers can work out. Daily presence on the part of the design team will keep the project moving forward in a seamless manner to produce the best possible outcome. We also coordinate the work of other contractors to ensure that the work is done in the proper sequence and to the highest standards.
